Denis Schwartz
Research engineer
My research: I have a 25 years experience in MEG and human brain imaging. I became director of the CERMEP MEG lab in Lyon in September 2018 after 20 years spent in the ICM neuroimaging platform in Paris. I led methodological developments time-frequency, connectivity and causality analysis. I am also involved in the development of tools dedicated to advanced source imaging in deep part of the brain. These developments were applied in different research fields: abnormal movement, epilepsy and BCI. Currently I am focusing my contribution on three projects: the development and test of innovative OPM MEG ensors developed by CEA Leti (NEW_MEG project), the advanced analysis of epileptic MEG signal and finally BCI.
Outside the lab I love to: Photos, astronomy and mountaineering
