My research: My research goal is twofold: first, to understand how the brain processes the temporal structure of speech, and second, to examine how this structure affects the development, comprehension, and production of spoken language. To achieve these goals, I focus on studying the precise processing of auditory temporal information in speech, such as phoneme sequences in words and word sequences in sentences. In addition, I seek to determine how exposure to auditory rhythms can stimulate temporal attention and predictive mechanisms that might influence subsequent speech perception.

Outside the lab I love to: Play music (trumpet, piano), sew and cook
